The Robart Companies Management Team
The Robart Companies management team offers vast resources and expert knowledge in all aspects of freight transportation and management systems. Collectively, our team of transportation professionals has over 75 years of experience.

Each member of The Robart Companies management team has earned the Certified Transportation Broker (CTB) designation from the Transportation Intermediary Association (TIA), an accomplishment that only 10% of transportation professionals earn.

Sharon Burton began her transportation career as a traffic manager for a chemical company based in Atlanta. In 1978 she joined ABF Freight Systems, the nation’s fifth largest Volume Partial Shipment carrier as a sales executive. Sharon was responsible for the opening of the largest terminal in the southeast, where she served as Terminal Manager for four years. In January of 1989, she joined Robart Transportation as Executive Vice President. Sharon now serves as CEO and President of both Robart Transportation, Inc. and The RL Services Group, LLC.

With parents that owned a trucking company, Joelle Haynes grew up in the transportation industry.  Since 1994, she has filled administrative, operational, sales, project management and senior management roles within The Robart Companies.  Prior to joining the Robart Companies, she held a management position focusing on fundraising, recruitment and logistics for the American Red Cross.  Joelle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management from Covenant College in Chattanooga, TN.  As a Director of the RL Services Group, Joelle and her team manage a collective transportation spend of over $250 million dollars.

Webb George began his transportation career directly out of college with Nationwide Transfer, a family owned property brokerage, as Manager of Operations. Since June of 1994 he has worked for Robart Transportation, Inc. filling administrative, inside sales, and operational roles. As Director of Operations, Webb is responsible for the activities of the operations team and has made a significant contribution to the growth of Robart Transportation, Inc.
